The 3rd EnerGEO summer school will take place in the beautiful city of Utrecht in the Netherlands.

The venue of the Summer School will be at the premises of TNO - Nederlandse Organisatie voor Toegepast Natuurwetenschappelijk Onderzoek. TNO is the largest fully independent Research, Development and Consultancy organization in the Netherlands. TNO’s primary tasks are to assist and support trade and industry including SME’s, governments and other sin technological innovation and solving problems by rendering services and transferring knowledge and expertise.

Travel

International flight connections are available from main airports in Europe.

Within Utrecht TNO Princetonlaan is easily reachable by car or public transport.
The parking at this location is limited, although visitors can use the paid parking places. We advise to travel by public transport. The route can easily be planned using 9292ov.nl.

Train Airport Schiphol to Utrecht

Every 15 minutes there is a direct train from Schiphol to Utrecht Centraal, leaving from track 3 or track 1-2. The duration is 32 minutes.
Price one-way trip 2nd class is EUR 8,10. No reservation is needed. You can buy your tickets at the station or online on internet via http://www.ns.nl/en/travellers/home

Hotels

For relatively cheap accommodation, we recommend B&B Utrecht, a nice hostel (with a few single rooms as well) in the city centre that makes an effort to operate in a sustainable way.
