The Final conference is dedicated to the “Earth observation for monitoring and assessment of the Environmental impact of energy use”
  
The EnerGEO Final conference will present the latest results of the joined research over the last 4 years in the field of renewable energies, a topic that will gain more and more importance in near future.
 
Oral presentations will focus on the topics of:
 
·         Assessing energy potentials
·         Data communication
·         Impact assessment 
·         New challenges in renewable energies and GEO 
 
The program is rounded off by a poster session, which will cover all relevant EnerGEO topics and an interdisciplinary panel discussion.  
 
Interested participants from science and policy are welcome to register for the EnerGEO Final conference.
Due to limited places we recommend an early registration.
 
Poster submission
 
The EnerGEO Final conference also offers a possibility to discuss and disseminate work within the field of renewable energies to an international audience. Central is the abstract submission  that is carefully reviewed by a scientific committee. All selected contributions will be published online. For further information please see Poster guidelines.

Venue

The EnerGEO Final conference will take place in the beautiful city of Utrecht in the Netherlands.

The venue of the EnerGEO Final conference will be at the premises of TNO - Nederlandse Organisatie voor Toegepast Natuurwetenschappelijk Onderzoek. TNO is the largest fully independent Research, Development and Consultancy organization in the Netherlands. TNO’s primary tasks are to assist and support trade and industry including SME’s, governments and other sin technological innovation and solving problems by rendering services and transferring knowledge and expertise.

Travel

International flight connections are available from main airports in Europe.

Within Utrecht TNO Princetonlaan is easily reachable by car or public transport.
The parking at this location is limited, although visitors can use the paid parking places. We advise to travel by public transport. The route can easily be planned using 9292ov.nl.

Train Airport Schiphol to Utrecht

Every 15 minutes there is a direct train from Schiphol to Utrecht Centraal, leaving from track 3 or track 1-2. The duration is 32 minutes.
Price one-way trip 2nd class is EUR 8,10. No reservation is needed. You can buy your tickets at the station or online on internet via http://www.ns.nl/en/travellers/home
