SUPARCO was registered as observer in the First International Workshop/Seminar on “ENERGY SOLUTIONS FROM COAL & BIOMASS”. The participants visited the pilots biogas plant installed at the one of lab of the unversity. The speakers highlighted the importance of the renewable energy resouces and the potential use of these resources in enegy sector in Pakistan. The speakers recommended various pilot studies for biogas genration from kichen waste in the urban centers and cow dung in the potential rural sites.

SUPARCO participated as observer in the 4th Alternative Energy & Power Asia-International Exhibition & Conference”. In this event major emphasis was on the wind and solar power gernation techonolgies. Various companies, both national (local) and international, exhbited their products used in solar and wind power.
