The Lunar Eclipse is Here, Along With New Articles & Other Features

Today's full moon is a lunar eclipse, the first of 2011. It's supposed to be the longest in about 10 years, and will be visible to skywatchers in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Australia. Folks in North America won't be able to see it, according to The CS Monitor. But don't click away just yet. We have plenty to share as our Extreme Weather theme winds down and we get ready for a new Urban Monitoring theme . We also have a new video blog to show off, along with ongoing Earthly Updates. There are some new writers on board as well.
